Need ideas for a GOOD conditioner that won't reck my hair. Help!!?

I love Panteen conditioner, but I have been told by many people that it has a chemical that can make you lose hair. I have long very thick hair that requires me to use alot of conditioner to tame it. Panteen does the job, but I don't want to worry about losing my hair. I have tried other conditioners, but I don't seem to get the same results. I would love any suggetions. Thanks

you're right-pantene is not good for the hair-my stylist has told me this also, and i have seen advice about this on this site too.

nexxus and matrix makes really good products, a really good one for you that i use(and works awesome) would be the matrix sleek look line. it really tames unruly hair and makes it as soft and smooth as can be.

nexxus therapee and humectress are both moisturizing products that are also very good. a real good leave in is paul mitchell's super skinny serum (you have to decide how much to use depending on your hair type)

If you really want something that works, go to the right salon and get bumble and bumble's deeeep. That will rock your hair, not (w)reck it.

Abba Moisture Sensation is awesome! Buy it at a beauty supply. If you can, find someone with a cosmetology license to get it for you...it'll be cheaper.

I like treseme for daily use. For occasional deep conditioning I like olive oil, leave in 20 minutes with plastic cap and a warm towel. Wash out well. Good Luck.

Homemade Conditioner to Make Hair Soft and Strong

1Banana juice (fresh)

1/2Cup honey

1. Mix both the first 2 ingredients together.

2. Wash and shampoo your hair regularly.

3. Apply this prepared paste on your wet hair.

4. Leave it on for 30- 40 minutes after you've shampooed your hair.

5. Do this twice a week.

6. Soon, you will have soft, strong and healthy hair!
