Might be ringworm. You can get a blacklight and shine it over the area, if the glows... the cats got ringworm. I would suggest you take your cat to the vet ASAP, my cat had ringworm when I first brought her home and I wasn't sure what it was until I contracted it, some medicine for me cleared it up and her immune system did all the work for her, by the time I took her to get checked, she no longer had it. Take the cat to the vet and I would suggest you go to the doctor yourself, some oral medication will nip it in the bud.

I had a cat that was losing its hair. Turns out it was a hormone problem. We got her spayed and she was fine.
