I would opt for a shorter style and get deep treatment every week to two weeks which is what i''m actually doing now

Take 2 tbls. of heinz apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 2-3 x day for its 93 vitamins and minerals. Hair and nails will become long and strong. I have suffered from hair loss for over 40 years. My hair and nails would grow to a certain point and breakoff. Now I have long hair and nails. So do not feel bad, take your vinegar daily. Vinegar does so much for such a small price.

It all depends on the extent of your hair loss.

Surgery is a very drastic step. Hair is removed from the back of your hair and pains takingly placed in other areas. A friend of mine had it done last Monday it took all day for one procedure. Usually It takes mulitple procedures.

Surgery is also very expensive, usually $5000 - $10,000 per procedure.

Shaving your hair short, see how it works for you. Women usually prefer men to shave short when they are losing hair.

While you keep your hair short try the new Rogaine foam product. Rogaine contains Monixinal. Monoxinal is the only product on the market proven and approved by the FDA to regrow hair.

Do not use any of the salon products that claim they regrow hair, I've tried them all and they don't work.

I am a balding male hairstylist so I know.

Good Luck
