Pomeranian mix seems to be losing the hair?

I just recently got a pomeranian mix and i gave it a bath and saw that it had little places on its back where the hair was not growing it looked almost like a scar, then tonight he began biting furiously on his but and pulled out a huge chunk of hair and began bleeding is it skin mites or a skin disease?

I had a cocker spaniel once who had this problem it was mites and she also had a vitamin defiencey. It was treated and took about four weeks to heal.

I took her to the veterinarian It cost about$65.00 but that has been a few years.

Get a real dog not a rat and this wont happen.

Take the poor dog to vet immediately..We had raised a pomeranian and did not have this kind of problems like yours. he might have some kind of skin disease..there must be pain and itchiness on his butt and skin. needs to get your dog a relief soon..

Pomeranians are loyal and smart companion, but don't mix them with large dogs, they think they are bigger and they would bite if they would be attacked by big animals.

I would suggest that you take your little one to the vet first light. If it is a skin infection, it needs to be treated it might just be the mange. Better safe then sorry. Good luck
