I had my baby girl 4 months ago and they swithched my insulin to novolin/novolog i was wondering if that had anything to do with it?

I too went through a stretch of handfuls of hair coming out after each of my 4 (full term) pregnancies. I think that the hormones during pregnancy actually reduce hair fall out then after baby is born it all catches up.

It may depend on your diet. I have a friend who is a vegetarian and she started losing her hair. She found out that she was losing her hair because it was something she was lacking in not having meat. So, she started on vitamin supliments and it wasnt enough. Needless to say she is not a vegetarian anymore and has since grown her hair back.

I lost a lot of hair after having my son. Women do that, because our hormones crash so rapidly after childbirth.

I'm willing to bet that you, like every other mom I know, are experiencing normal postpartum hair loss. If it continues and/or increases contact your OB/GYN. Good luck with the baby.
