Seasonal alopecia (hair loss) isn't uncommon in boxers--does it happen this way each year? You should take your dog to the vet to rule out underlying causes, like thyroid problems, but it is entirely possible it's just a bout of excessive shedding and there's nothing you can really do about that. You do need to have him checked, though, since hair loss can be an indicator for a lot of different underlying problems. It may also be mange, a reaction to his own skin mite population, which will need immediate attention--your vet can test for that.

Dogs coats, like human hair, grow in stages - growth, rest and then shedding. Over the winter your dogs grow a thicker coat to protect them from the cold and then shed this over the summer as they don't need it. Your dogs are just shedding their coats at different times. Brush them both every morning with a mitt and this should encourage both dogs to shed their coats then rather than all over your house.

Every dog is different - some humans moult more than others. Try brushing them regularly or smooth their coats with rubber gloves to take loose hair out
if you are really concerned
take him to the vet for a check up to be on the safe side.

To the vet. Hair loss can be caused by various things- some more worrying than others. A trip to the vet will help to diagnose the problem. Don't use shampoos etc until you know what you're dealing with - you could make it worse.
