A lack of protein will cause your hair to fall out. Make sure you're getting enough protein in your diet. Dairy, meat, nuts and soy are your best sources. It will take about two weeks of making sure you're eating enough protein to make the hair thing stop. The recommended daily amount is 80mg. If you are eating lots of protein, you might want to give your doctor a call and ask him/her.

When you are pregnant your hair gets thicker because pregnancy slows the natural shedding and regrowing process.
It's very natural for you to loss your hair after you give birth. It's all the hair that would have normally fallen out if you had not been pregnant. It happened to me after I had my daughter. If you get bald spot or it doesn't slow down in the next 3 months, you should see a docter. Are you breastfeeding that could be a contributing factor.
